GOONJAN JAIN
Goonjan Jain is a Mumbai-based artist who originally hails from Kolkata in West Bengal (India).
Goonjan began her professional career as a Chartered Accountant for a large corporate in the City of Joy, but she discovered her true passion after taking a hobby art class at the Rajaram Art Studio in the Maximum City.
With this first step, she began her true vocation and embarked on a full-time career as an artist. In a short time, Goonjan has explored various artistic mediums, such as oils, charcoal, soft pastels, and watercolors – but favours acrylic above all else. After many years honing her craft, she still sees herself as an eternal learner – constantly experimenting and exploring new perspectives and subjects in her work.
Goonjan’s works have found a welcome audience in Mumbai, where her works have been successfully exhibited in a number of group shows and garnered her private commissions.
Her works continue to awe audiences as she has received wide acclaim and multiple awards as an “Exceptional Artist” in online art contests by digital galleries.
Goonjan as an artist doesn’t hesitate to experiment with different medium and subjects and that can be seen in all her paintings. We do hope to build a larger collection of Goonjan’ s painting over the next few years.
